Go Set A Watchman
I just finished Harper Lee's Go Set A Watchman, the much publicized novel that popped up some 50+ years after Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird. I won't spoil the book by giving anything away, I'll just offer a thought or two. I didn't think it was a great book, but I'm glad I read it. For me, someone who taught Mockingbird for many years (and it's my #1 book of all time), Watchman offers an insight into the author and her process of writing. In my eyes, the character of Atticus is not at all compromised, because...well, I won't say any more. I'd be interested in hearing other takes. I love having read it.
