challenge - foreground frame

The challenge was to use the foreground to frame a subject, but I am rubbish at spotting opportunities of that sort. This is all I could find on my daily walk. There was no choice in where I stood to take the photograph. If I tried to take it from any other angle, the branches almost covered the memorial. I should have taken some shears with me. 
I tried sitting on the ground but that didn't work either.
