Trust

Walking home with my sister after her chemo appointment today I learned about the need for trust in the journey of cancer treatment. I/we have to trust the doctors, trust that the medicines will be effective, trust in whatever higher power we believe in and trust that we will always be there for one another. That's where the loyalty comes in, I guess.  Knowing that we're always there - no matter what. 

We grabbed a quick bite at Quincy Market and watched this man and his troupe of acrobatic street performers engage a crowd of several hundred onlookers. The men were wildly and precariously leaping onto one another and somersaulting their way to cheers from everyone. All the while trusting that their partners would catch and safely deliver them back to the stable sidewalk below.  Trust and loyalty.
