Ston

Our last day started off grey and drizzly, although still 26 degrees. We decided to climb the ancient city walls of Ston, as it had been too hot previously. It was perfect weather for the climb. The walls were built between 1333 and 1335, and stretch 5km between Ston and Mali Ston. There are 4 forts along the walls, and 13 towers. All I can say is that it was flipping steep! After an ice cream at the bottom to revive us it was back to our village to spend a last afternoon on the beach. The clouds passed and it was beautiful sunshine.

How we will miss this place. I sincerely hope we make it back here.
