Jedward!

I noticed this little Scottish thistle glistening in the sun this evening on the old railway viaduct. 

I'm not big on blipping flowers but this is a weed! 

Allegedly an invading force was stopped as soldiers caught their bare feet on the thistle forcing them to retreat. The weed was then made our national flower!

I think they look like wee Jedwards!
