Spa

In January, for a number of reasons I quit my job full-time job and have been working on a self-employed, much happier basis since April.  Some of the week I am based at Bermondsey Spa.  It sounds exotic and maybe  once upon a Roman time it may well have been.  But I am nestled in amongst railway arches and industrial estates, tower blocks and general bustle of South London.  It is quite an unusual place, very close to central London and yet still retaining a real community identity, dating back to the old days when this part of London was very much related to the dockers who lived and worked in the area.   Any way my office is just behind this railway arch (there are hundreds of them around here!)

Thanks you so much for such a lovely welcome back yesterday.  I will start the process of visiting journals in the next few days and saying hello properly. So many people I have missed over the last year.  :-)
