Besso

A rest day in Zinal today - a pleasant sensation to be able to spread out in the hotel room and relax.
We're in the Hotel du Besso - named after the peak in this blip, which though low by comparison to its lofty neighbours dominates the view + especially from my bedroom.
I scouted the trail this morning after a lazy (7am!) start, then road the free lift up to Sorbois and had lunch with my Crazy Gang. A brief moment of activity to locate two wanderers was quickly resolved, but it proved too windy for paragliding or crazy golf.
As my other plan for relaxing didn't work out it seemed only right to go and watch the Dixieland Band and drink local beer - and of course, with this group, laugh a lot.
Tomorrow we're off to rather remote Gruben, so it might be a back blip. Apologies to all for recent lack of comments, your kind words, encouragement, stars and hearts have been much appreciated.
