Messenger to Piz Mezzaun

Piz Mezzaun is our local peak, stands impressively above the valley and can be seen in all its glory from our terrasse. It has been the focus of many a blip and today was the day to pay homage to it.
We set off early, scrambled up the gully, summited many peaks en route and just as we were dithering about whether to carry on to the final peak or not this young chamois traversed the scree slopes to join us briefly before showing us the continuing route just to the left of the rocky ridge.
The extras show a herd of bouquetin on the way up to the first summit and also M on the highest summit with our village as the backdrop.
