A Blue Moon Day

I know I've missed the actual "blue moon", but this was a rare day anyway!  I did some ironing:-)  As my least favourite chore, it tends to get put off until I've got nothing left to wear, but there were only a few bits in the basket so I decided to tackle them.  Feeling very virtuous now:-)

A mixed day of sunshine and a few light showers, so my husband decided to cut some hedges - and then he just kept going!  There are now several large shrubs which have had extreme haircuts, but it does look a whole lot tidier.  I helped chop up the remains and we filled two large garden bins and the rest went in the compost bin.  A gardener's work is never done!
