Chateau at Amboise.

There are so many Chateaux to visit through the Loire valley, that it is so difficult to actually choose some! We have not been to Amboise before - visiting others instead, - but this one was magnificent. Again an imposing building with lots of history, and some very pretty gardens.
It is a shame that these building do not have as much fabric in the interiors as our National Trust Houses. They do look very resplendent in the sunshine though.
