1941 De Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth II
Its surprising what flies over our house. Its also surprising the info you can obtain from the internet. I typed in the plane Registration number & google told me exactly what the aircraft was.....incredible.
Plane Info: This Tiger was built by Morris Motors in 1941 and given the military serial T5888; in 1953 it was sold off and acquired its current registration. It is now owned by a syndicate from Reading.
If you want to buy one you can probably get one for around $100,000 USD or if you settle for a model then its £5.99 from Airfix !!.
Its not that great a shot but for today it will have to do.
Another feet up day.
Dull & cloudy with the odd shower.
Incredibly it is 2 years since I left work....
