Riding 100 miles for JamJam - the start.

This was taken as I was waiting with thousands of cyclists at the start of the Prudential Ride London 100 mile in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 
The main aim of this challenge was to raise funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and I dedicated this ride to my friend, and fellow Blipper JamJam
We had glorious weather and the organisation of this massive event was superb. I so enjoyed the part through Richmond Park and Kingston, and I managed to spot Max's green beard on my way down the London Road. 
It was tragic that a rider lost his life on the lower part of Leith Hill - my thoughts are with his family and friends today.
Jenny, I thought of you so much on this ride. Every time the going got tough I thought of you and your amazing courage in your battle with Leukaemia.
