It's most important to have a switched on electrician, especially then there are fire regulations to consider and your ceiling is made out of horse hair.

The beginning of stage three of my flat refurbishment involves replacing the kitchen.  The overhead lighting in my cooking space hasn't worked for as long as I remember and although the new units are going to be overburdened with sexy recessed LED's I figured it was worth getting some ceiling spotlights put in as well.
