Geslaagd!

Which means my son passed his exams (Dutch equivalent to the A-levels) and qualified for university. Graduation 29 June.

The tradition here is to fly the Dutch flag with your school bag when you get the news. Not having a Dutch flag or a flagpole, we improvised with a pace (peace) flag from Rome, a broom and some duct tape.

Then celebrated with champagne of course.
