Namedy Castle

Our group were very privileged to have dinner at Namedy Castle, the home of Princess Heide Bon Hohenzollem, a very gracious lady who has worked for many years to restore her late husband's family residence to its former splendour.

After she had welcomed us and explained the history of the castle, we were invited to explore the house and gardens. We were then served a wonderful dinner in the music room during which a gifted pianist from the Cologne Music Academy gave a short recital.
