A Day Out

SWMBO and I headed over to Pittenweem for the arts festival.
(There are some steep hills there)

We bought ceramics for the garden (bird bath, rile and wind chimes) for silly prices ...... no wonder they sold out yesterday by 11am.
We saw wild flowers aplenty, shells on a wall and a bee on a windowsill (SWMBO bought that one).

One of the invited artists at the festival is Alison Kinnaird who does spectacular etched glass pieces.
Photographs just don't do justice to the detail.

Bikes with flowers is a recurring thing throughout the festival every year.
Some are better than others.
Ones I liked were the Get On Your Bike series (my title - not theirs), White Wash and Flintstones Wheels (their title - not mine).

It was a long day walking and standing and I was more than a little relieved to get back into the car and head home ....... via the golf club for a super roast diner.

If you get the chance this week ...... go to Pittenweem.
