Up Close and Personal

On Saturday I started toward Sunset Beach for the sunset, but made a detour by pond on a Sunset Beach golf course.  The county built a boardwalk viewing platform by the pond and these are 3 of the photos I took.  I had trouble deciding which to have as extras and which to post as the primary photo.  I hope you can see the extras as the Cormorant is quite majestic as he cleaned himself and got ready for another dive for fish in the pond.  One of greens for the golf course is about 50 yards away, so yes, the alligator visits the course.
