A quiet trip out on the river?

We took Quasar out on the River Mersey today to make sure Baby Q wouldn't fall off.  It all started off really quiet and uneventful with a little yacht race, then someone seeing if they could nip ashore for a quick pint at Eastham (this is how that spot looked back in the 1920's).  Then a bit of wildlife on the move.  

Then we headed back towards Liverpool Marina sailing down the Garston Channel and recording depths of over 50ft. When suddenly there was an almighty horn being sounded dead astern. Looking around we saw the Karina C bearing down on us at great speed. She was definitely not going to get out of the way so we did (we are a bit nippier she is).  Then we were back safe and sound at the lock gate and pleased to see the three "spiritual houses" - the Anglican Cathedral, the Catholic Cathedral & Cains Brewery!  All in all a fun day out...
