Les Babouains

We went for a walk around the lanes of the western parish of Torteval this afternoon for the 12th  annual Scarecrow festival.  There were 48 scenarios all together and this picture shows just one of them Quite a few took a tongue in cheek go at local topics that are quite "hot" at the moment. The walk takes about a couple of hours at a leisurely pace and is a great family time out.  (Les Babouains is Guernsey French for Scarecrow by the way)
