Funbox

Busy day today.  First off I took Ethan to a taster session for a new kids football club which is opening up locally.  He was very shy at first and had to be coaxed into joining in, but seemed to enjoy it in the end and said he wants to go back.

Home for a quick bite to eat then off to the Howden Centre to meet his friends Anna, Lucinda and their mummies.  We were going to see the new Funbox show (formerly known as The Singing Kettle).  Earlier in the year we had pledged some money to them via their Crowdfunder campaign and as a result were having a backstage tour with them before todays show.  The kids enjoyed being up on the stage, getting to check out the props and have a go on Gary's keyboard.  The show itself was great too although it was hard not to start singing "spout handle lid of metal etc" as the whole show format was the same as the Singing Kettle days.  Think we'll book for their Christmas show too as the kids always have great fun at the shows.

Ethan's a bit under the weather though and crashed out on the sofa once we got home.  Hubbie took him to the Foreveryoungs a few hours later as he's having a sleepover there.  Hope he's ok for them!
