Clare and The Davis Phillips Swing Septet

My friend Clare persuaded her dad to bring his band to Watford to play for the club. I've got to say it was nothing short of brilliant. 

Normally they play for an audience that is sitting down at tables with dinner and drinks. So their arrangements are seven minutes long - or more! That would kill us (or me). So it was an adventure for them, cutting the arrangements down and moderating the tempo. They did a grand job and I gather they enjoyed themselves too.
