Landmark Forest Adventure Park

Lankmark is only a few miles up the road from Aviemore, so there was no excuse not to take the boys there.  It was a gorgeous sunny day, bit cold, but given the awful un-summery  weather these few months, it was very welcome.  Better than wandering round in the rain for sure :-)

First stop was the roller coaster then it was on to the tree top rope trails.  Ben and I went on the Tarzan Trail with me finding it hard to keep up with his one and Cameron the Ropework X, then later the vertical drop which is called Skydive, supposed to stimulate a parachute jump!  It's very high, having to get to the top climbing up a high pole.  Brave boy!  And he was joined on the other adjoining pole by his Papa.  Ben and I stayed with our feet firmly on the ground!!

Had a picnic in the woods, near the big wooden tower and then we walked round the Red Squirrel Trail, through the ancient pinewoods that have been there on this spot for over 10,000 years.  There was even a wildlife feeding area where we saw red squirrels feeding, really close up :-)

There was trips into three cabins, one had a spinning vortex tunnel, a topsy turvey room and a growing shinking room - great fun :-)

Back to the hotel for a little relaxation before dinner, then after it we went for a swim.  Last year Ben had his pink armbands on but this year he is swimming (but not in deep water he says) and it was pretty quiet so we enjoyed the pool with not many people there.

Phew, another exhausting day!!
