Showers and Showers

In between showers in Richmond this morning we came across Mill House garden, nominated as one of the 30 best gardens for Alan Titchmarsh's TV programme.  A steep hillside garden with not an inch of space to spare. Hostas, ferns, roses, clematis and so many more! The castle is in the background.
We hosted the back up team to hot showers this afternoon as the facilities on their camping site are not very good.  Six children and two adults, all steaming in the caravan and granddad filling water barrels and emptying waste - what fun!  Apparently our son (at the half way stage) is suffering from a very swollen ankle and blisters and a rest day is planned for tomorrow.  The walkers are both coming here for a while this evening for more hot showers and its raining again!
