The Black Swan

We took Toto for a walk down to the river this afternoon. The sun was out but it was still cold so a brisk walk warmed us up.

There were birds everywhere and I made the most of that! :)

This beautiful black swan was feasting on some seeds that a generous person had scattered and intermittently fighting off the coots when they became too bold!

My extra is of a local anhinga with feathers out to dry.
