Jodrell Bank

On the way home from Alvaston Hall we dropped in on Jodrell Bank Observatory, and spent the best part of three hours touring the site and having lunch.
 
We were fortunate in that they were undertaking maintenance (painting) so we got to see and photograph the telescope turned around in many angles.  Having said that these were taken on the way in, and although they are the traditional view they have proved to be my favourites.
