Homeward bound....

Taken at 6.30am as we were starting to get up and ready to head home.

Looks like Wales was going to have a lovely sunny day.

The day was mainly spent in the car, driving up to Da Hill, to stay overnight with my Mum.

We took the Roald Dahl audiobooks with us in the car, and they were great. All five of us listening intently.

Once we got to Mum's, the SBG enjoyed the sticker books she'd bought them, and Iain and I got to have showers and a glass of wine before my lovely friend Jo and her girlfriend Cole popped over with her nephew for a catch up. The 4 kids suddenly decided to have a crazy half hour - slightly stressful with glasses of red sitting out!
So good to see Jo and Cole again, and it was quite nice not to have to nip outside for the loo during the night too!
