The Mainland

Part 1 of the return from Lewis and Harris.

Arrive in Stornoway and check in for ferry.
Mad dash to go to the random shop run by the 'bonkers bloke with white hair' to find it shut.
Spy interesting, fancy tweed shop and spend lots of money.
Run back to ferry port and manage to find the car.
It starts raining. Heavily.
Sausage & egg bap, coffee.
Very pleasant trip across the Minch.
Gorgeous scenery.
Long queue to get into the (overrated in my view) Mountain Cafe in Aviemore for late lunch.
More nice scenery and another view of the under-construction new Forth Bridge.
Burmese kittens, wine, cake, Harry Potter.
