Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Sunny Saturday

I seem to be always blipping a day in arrears at the moment.  I'll try to blip again this evening and catch up with myself.

We had a slow start to the day, having both woken with headaches, for some reason.  But once we got going, it was a pleasant day.

Particularly nice was a visit to Fairhaven to buy some plants for the bog area.  Fairhaven was where W and I first met, in May 2012.  On that occasion the weather was pretty awful, and we just sat in the cafe and chatted.  This time, the weather was lovely, and we were able to sit outside, and share our cream tea with the local wasps.

I tried to take a photo of a wasp, but it flew away.  We were then visited by a sparrow, but that too flew away before I could snap it.  W wasn't able to fly away, though he did try!

Having consumed our scones and cream, we bought some plants, and came home.  W mowed the lawn, and I weeded and planted some Aquilega that have been sitting around waiting for me to be energised, and the plants we bought at Fairhaven.  And then we were able to sit out on Dad's teak bench with a glass of wine, and enjoy our garden.
