Mother and baby green woodpeckers

My husband spotted two green woodpeckers on our lawn yesterday morning so I rushed downstairs to get my camera which had a macro lens fitted.  Fearing the birds would have gone by the time I got back upstairs, I left the macro lens on and began taking shots.  It was lovely to see the mother feeding the baby.  They were there for about a minute but when I slowly opened the window to get a clearer shot, they flew off!
