Escaping the Heat

Portland is too warm today so we came back over to the beach, it was beautiful here today, just a little low fog. We took the boat out for a ride this evening to see if I could get some bird shots but there was nothing exciting where we went. Driving home we stopped for a photo over the bay with the "cormorant tree" in the foreground, so that is what I posted here tonight.

We came home to a nice simple dinner and then a "campfire" outside; hubby even roasted a couple marshmellows. It was a very pleasant peaceful day with just the two of us. Now I want to get to bed because church starts earlier over here at the beach. I don't want to miss the adult bible study before the service, it is usually very interesting and inspirational. So, Nighty night.
