Moorhen

The Moorhen a mostly black & dark brown feathered bird, but with that very distinctive, bright red and yellow beak & red eyes. In Oman the Moorhens seem to be incredibly shy and secretive, but this one, photographed on a pond was quite happy to have her photograph taken.
