Gull At Sunset

I've confirmed that mom, dad and the three kid gulls are all safe on the roof across the alley.  I can't ever seem to get all five of them in the same picture so this one will have to do -- don't know if its mom or dad.  I was worried about them when I only saw one kid but I saw the whole family earlier this evening so I feel better.  I'll worry about them until the kids take flight and then all will be well until next year when they start another family.

Gorgeous sunset tonight but I was in transit and couldn't get down to the bay fast enough to catch it at its best.  I do believe blipper MaryJo did though, so check out her blip for tonight here
