Sunrise, Moonset

There was a lot of cloud about this morning, but for a while the moon was glowing above the hills. It was especially beautiful when the sunshine came through a chink at the horizon, turning the Malvern Hills rusty red. Snow clad Mount Hutt is on the right.

A few minutes later (see extra shot) the sun had gone and the moon was sinking into murky bluish cloud. The hawk, that had been circling above me as I watched the moon, lowered its flightpath to get into the shot.
