Pickings

At mother-in-law's today, as most Saturdays. After shopping I went to sort out her greenhouse, behind which I found her raspberry canes in fruiting mode.

Despite the cool temperatures and rain - and lack of sun, there was a good crop of lovely sweet berries free of mildew . (Yes I did sample one or two when picking, freshly washed by this afternoon's rain).

If it wasn't for the temperatures I'd say summer was here.
