Portrait Workshop

This morning I went to a portrait workshop in Dursley hosted by Olympus and Clifton Cameras.  The model, Vicky, has been there before for a previous event demonstrating studio lights.  She is very patient with us novices!  Rob Pugh, an Olympus ambassador was running the training.  A very intense 3 1/2 hours trying to learn as much as possible.

This was my best shot, and I was quite pleased as I even managed to "do some of the patter" and got a natural smile.

Interesting tip was to not include the very top of the head so as to minimise the empty space.
