Cat 0, Squirrel 1

This black cat is a regular in our garden; unmistakable due to its blue collar and tinkling bell.

Despite the bell (which is often heard before we see the cat), it has spent most of this afternoon and evening and most other daystrying to catch a squirrel.

Credit where it's due, poor cat doesn't give up, even though the squirrels are way smarter and faster than the cat.
If I didn't know better, I'd swear the squirrels take delight in tormenting it.
As you can see from the photo, they have a couldn't care less attitude to being stalked.
