HONEYSUCKLE WITH BEE

A day of showers followed by a beautiful evening that drew out crowds of bees, buzzily making up for lost time. 

Normally we have the VIP staying at the weekend, but today it was The Great Mysterio, who entertained us through the rain with a series of magic tricks. As his lovely assistant, Mirabelle, I made props, false bottom boxes, wands, capes and pigs that came out of hats.  At one point I was the subject of a disappearing spell, hiding behind the sofa to the consternation of the Great Mysterio, who told the Professor anxiously that he thought I had gone to 'another dimension'.  Now that might have been a smarter idea.
