Newlands Round
Last full day of our holiday today - and we really made the most of it with a huge, beautiful walk. We started off in Little Town and climbed steadily up to the col between Cat Bells and Maiden Moor - then followed a long and stunningly beautiful horseshoe shaped ridge walk, taking in Maiden Moor, High Spy, Dale Head and Hindscarth. It was strenuous and tiring, but it was a beautiful day and the views made it well worth the effort.
We crossed this stream about halfway round, before the hardest part of the walk, climbing up to Dale Head.
Went out for a delicious dinner at Siam Star again, and got packed up to go home tomorrow (boo hoo!)
