and home!

We left our cottage at 7am this morning and 11.5 hours later, arrived home.

Beautiful drive back over Mull, followed by a calm but overcast ferry to the mainland, past the incredible and vast Loch Lomond (above), briefly through Glasgow, a dirty bit of fast food at a service station and then home.

1,000 miles and many happy memories later.


Scotland, you’ve been truly amazing. And thankfully, due to my Scottish heritage, I’ve got a good enough excuse to go and live there, right?
