Monkey Puzzle

Just a hardworking day, no Olympic Torches tonight.
This Monkey puzzle grows close to the co-op that I use. I have always liked Monkey Puzzle trees, even as a child and wanted to record one on my Blip. I thank the Victorians for their interest in planing them. Native to Chile, I think that they are quite now rare ther, and Edinburgh Botanic gardens have been linking with Chile in a regeneration programme.
This looks like a female tree judging from the shape of the cones.
