but there are always one or two that ignore their mother!  The extra is of mum  giving directions.  She has done well to have 6 surviving ducklings from her brood of 12 - the seagulls had the rest.

P.S.  Just noticed that the little boys are the ones who obeyed - the females  were acting like female adolescents...
