Lantern Tree

Another drive to Devon and across Dartmoor to N's late aunt's house which is still up for sale and we are slowly emptying the cupboards each time we visit.

In the garden near the gate is this wonderful tall tree covered with these bright red lanterns. Sorry, don't know its name but someone out there might? Is it Australian? It is growing in very acid soil.
