Meet Ava

At Cockermouth Show today Guide Dogs for the Blind were trying to collect sponsors for their puppies. They were especially keen to get sponsors for Ava as she is a bit special. We already sponsor Fredie (who is progressing well) so we couldn't really take on another but I did remember that when we blipped Fredie it brought in some more sponsors.
So what is so special about Ava? Well, she is a labradoodle and doesn't shed hair. Some unfortunate people are blind but also have allergies. Ava is the first puppy that may be able to help when fully trained. I wonder how she will get on.
PS This is my 'good turn' for the day - I would otherwise have blipped the goats!
