Rough Weather

We had planned to spend some of today watching the trials for the America's Cup, which were being held in Portsmouth this weekend. However the weather this morning was so awful that the whole event had to be cancelled. So instead we went out for lunch with Mark's cousins.

When we got to the restaurant, which was right by the beach, I immediately saw why the event had been cancelled. The sea was fierce and the visibility was appalling. It didn't stop a lot of wind and kite surfers though, who seemed to be relishing the conditions! After lunch we had a leisurely drive back... it was a lovely weekend away.
