Winter

It has been a cold day. This is an evening shot of the deciduous trees with addition of a helicopter.

In Australia we have a "Flying Doctor" service for outback towns. There is a base in Dubbo where I visit frequently. In Bathurst we have a retrieval helicopter for serious medical cases and people are transported to the large Sydney hospitals over the Blue Mountains. It is much quicker than a 3 hour road trip. When I was working in a hospital setting it was always a relief when extra help arrived for the sickest cases. I mostly worked in Maternity and had many tiny babies transported to Sydney.
