Some welcome clouds

It's been very hot, so the clouds that rolled in this afternoon brought a little relief. We heard thunder, but nothing real close. 
Our younger daughter is running in the Cascade Lakes Relay this weekend. It is over 200 miles long, and each team has 12 runners. Her first leg was at midday in 100 F heat, over 7 miles in sort of volcanic sand. She said she about died, and had to be checked out by medics. She is running again in the wee hours of the night, and again tomorrow midday. We hope to see her then. The rest of us? We just swim and bike and lounge around.
