Stop following me...

Walked to the shops and then walking back this cat started following me. I turned round and it pretended it wasn't but as soon as I started off again, it followed.
I explained to it that I didn't want following thanks all the same.
Then a small boy walked past and said "that cats following you". "yeah, I know" I said.
I managed to give them both the slip...
