making great strides

It took about 10 attempts to get this shot; legs were in the wrong position, no smiling face, or simply looking the wrong way …..  As we watch TV this evening, Anniemay complains that her legs are beginning to ache.

We’re on a bike ride and discover some adult toys at various points around Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes.  (The extra shot shows another such toy).  Then a stop at Cafe Nero for coffee and an almond croissant.  

I’m really pleased with the way the bike is working.  I’m getting the hang of how and when the motor kicks in - like a gentle hand in my back when I’m running out of puff (and not so gentle sometimes). We’re taking it across the Channel in a few weeks time …..
