Soggy

Wet start to the day. Very wet. As in, 'get back from walking the dog soaked through to the skin and have to change everything even underwear' wet.
Food was followed by a drive over the tiny road that runs across Harris, where we spotted the subject of today's blip: peat turves 'drying'. There were quite a lot of them at numerous places so it's obviously still actively used for fuel. Looks like backbreaking work.
The evening was the polar opposite to the morning. So sunny that the kids donned wetsuits and spent a happy hour mucking around in the waves as the sun slowly set behind the clouds. A great end to a lovely week.
