Friday: Strossmayer

Well, I might as well continue with my occasional 'Landmarks of Zagreb' series - it does strike me that most of them seem to be statues in front of buildings.  This is the ubiquitous Bishop Strossmayer who has endless streets, parks and squares named after him in Croatia.

This particular one is behind the National Academy.  

It has been a bit chilly these last few days but it is warming up again nicely.
